Saturday brings the return of the Royals to St James's Park.
Reading (why is it that this small city near London is not pronounced 'reeding'? as my nephew stated on Wednesday) are enjoying a decent run of form at the moment and the Toon will meet a resilient, albeit it lacking in bite, team at 3pm on Saturday. With their last few games looking more positive and with their tails up it should be an entertaining, if difficult game.
Newcastle head into this game looking for another good performance and another 3 points on the back of two consecutive wins - this would pretty much confirm premiership survival. If we manage to win, it will be the first time since December 2006 that we have managed three wins in a row.
Keegan is expected to name an unchanged side from the game with Emre set to feature on the bench after a 45 minute stint on Monday night.
