Newcastle United Vs Fulham - St James Park - 15:00 - 22/03/08

The match.

We come to our most important in recent seasons and lets not kid ourselves that it will be an easy game.

Fulham come up here with the same fight an determination we have lacked in recent games (barring Birmingham & Blackburn) and have a dogged outlook about themselves.

Roy Hodgson is hardly a slouch (his lisp is quite amusing mind) when it comes to tactics and will certainly know our weakspots and how to get at us, its whether they have the players to do as he commands, that is the key.

This game (in my view) will prove to the fans just which players at our club are committed to the cause.

It's time for those multimillionaires to start playing football. It's time for them to start proving they are worthy of wearing a black a white top.

Many people slate Stephen Taylor (and to be fair some of his performances warrant the criticism he gets) but he came out today and said he is embarrassed to look at the current league table...fuck me...doesn't take a genius does it? I've been thinking that all the second half of the season mate! The thing is, what he said is true, as a Newcastle fan I'm finding it more and more difficult to come to terms with just what has happened to our club. Fighting against relegation for the past 15 or so years has been unheard of. Saying that, the way we have performed this season, its not our god given right to be in this league, and finally this may have given some of the fans (gaaannaa win the leaaagueee man) deluded views a bit of a kick in the nackers!

Anyhow, All this shite aside...all the bickering, nay saying from the Media, all the constant slagging, the performances this season, everything needs to be forgotten about from here on in. This is now an 8 game season.

Lets get behind the lads tomorrow like we never have before. It's time for the real fans to stand up, and cheer the players on. At the end of the day, they might not have deserved to wear the famous black & white or don the crest of the lion & seahorses but for all they are worth, they are wearing it tomorrow. Like it or lump it. Its also time for the players to show what they can do on the field.

Lets make this the first home win for KK and the first win for too long to remember.

So come on...sing your heart out for the toon! I personally will be going mental for the full 90minutes. My only respite will be the 15minutes at half time, dancing on the concourse with Gaz!

So...

Lets do it for our pride, lets do it for ourselves so we can walk away happy that we as fans put in a good performance, but most of all, lets do it for Newcastle United.
